Governing Entity: BRACE (Empowering Communities) – A non-profit company being licensed under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or registering through the official BRACE website, participating in any BRACE event, submitting the supporter form, or otherwise engaging with BRACE activities, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not register, contribute, or participate in any official BRACE activities.

2. Legal Status

BRACE is a company limited by guarantee under the laws of Pakistan. Legal membership is limited to its Board of Directors. All other participants are categorized as supporters, contributors, or volunteers, and do not possess any voting or governance rights within the organization.

3. Eligibility

Supporter registration is open to:

  • Residents, property owners, and tenants in areas where BRACE operates
  • Students, professionals, and socially conscious individuals aligned with BRACE’s values
  • Entities that support BRACE’s objectives

You must be 18 years or older to register. Those under 18 may only participate through a guardian’s consent.

4. Registration & Annual Contribution

  • All registrants must complete the official BRACE e-form.
  • A PKR 1,000 annual contribution is required for supporter status, valid for one year.
  • Contributions are non-refundable and used solely for BRACE’s lawful and charitable objectives.
  • BRACE reserves the right to revise contribution requirements upon notice.

5. Data Use & Privacy

  • All personal data collected during registration is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • BRACE does not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties, except as required by law.
  • By registering, you consent to receive updates, alerts, and community announcements through email, SMS, or WhatsApp.

6. Code of Conduct

All supporters, contributors, and volunteers agree to:

  • Uphold BRACE’s principles of non-political, non-sectarian, lawful public service
  • Respect fellow participants and refrain from abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior
  • Follow BRACE’s WhatsApp group rules, event guidelines, and participation protocols
  • Avoid claiming any representational or decision-making authority on behalf of BRACE

7. Suspension & Termination

BRACE reserves the right to suspend or revoke registration in the event of:

  • Violation of these Terms & Conditions
  • Disrespectful conduct within BRACE platforms or events
  • Misuse of BRACE branding, identity, or materials
  • Non-payment of the annual contribution within the prescribed time

Supporters may also voluntarily deactivate their registration at any time by written request.

8. Use of BRACE Name & Materials

You may not use BRACE’s name, logo, or content for any public, political, fundraising, or promotional activity without prior written approval. Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

9. Limitation of Liability

BRACE shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from participation, content access, third-party services, or delays in event delivery, except as required under law.

10. Amendments

These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically to reflect operational, legal, or compliance changes. All registered supporters will be notified via email or platform notice. Continued use of BRACE services after updates constitutes agreement to the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Islamabad.
