BRACE Contributors & Supporters Policy
Introduction
As a non-profit company licensed under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017, BRACE – Empowering Communities recognizes and encourages the voluntary participation of individuals and organizations in its lawful, charitable, and community-support activities. While legal membership of BRACE is limited to its directors, we welcome broader civic engagement through structured support categories outlined below.
Eligibility
Registration as a Supporter / Volunteer / Contributor is open to residents, property owners, tenants, students, professionals, and civic-minded individuals in BRACE’s recognized areas of operation across Pakistan, as and when announced by the leadership. All registrants must align with BRACE’s objectives and code of conduct.
Support Categories
BRACE recognizes the following categories for participation:
1. Official Contributor

Individuals (residents, tenants, or owners) actively engaged in BRACE programs or community services.

May be eligible for recognition in BRACE’s contributor network, talent pool, and outreach programs.

No voting or governance rights.
2. Supporter
-
Any individual or entity supporting BRACE’s mission without regular engagement.

May participate in open sessions, events, or campaigns as announced.
3. Student Supporter
-
Students from institutions or communities within BRACE’s operational areas.

Eligible for youth-led activities, career guidance, and selected learning programs.
4. Honorary Supporter
-
Individuals recognized for significant voluntary contributions to BRACE’s cause.

Recognition is honorary and does not entail voting or operational authority.

While BRACE directors are the only legal members, registered contributors and supporters may benefit from:

Registration Fee
A contribution-based registration fee of PKR 1,000 is currently applicable, which covers participation and access to listed benefits for a full one-year period. This fee helps sustain operational costs for community services and is subject to periodic review by the leadership.
Registration Process
Interested individuals may register by filling out the Supporter / Contributor e-Form on the BRACE website and submitting the registration fee. All registrations are reviewed and recorded by the leadership team or its authorized representatives.

Disengagement and Suspension
Participation privileges may be suspended or withdrawn for:

Breach of BRACE’s code of conduct or participation guidelines

Repeated violations of community group or platform rules

Actions considered detrimental to BRACE’s mission or reputation
Reinstatement
Supporters whose registration was suspended may apply for reinstatement upon remedying the grounds for disengagement, subject to review and approval by the BRACE leadership.
